Emergency Response Attendant

Situated a short stroll from tranquil parklands and the waterfront panorama of Rushcutters Bay, Trebartha Apartments offers residents an independent, cosmopolitan lifestyle in a prestigious location.

The village is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reliable Emergency Response Attendant to provide onsite overnight response to Village emergency calls (shifts ranging from 4.30pm - 8am, including a sleepover shift 7.30pm - 6.30am). This position will require the incumbent to work approximately three shifts per fortnight on a rotating roster.

With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, the successful candidate will have proven experience in dealing with the elderly along with the ability to make critical decisions in relation to emergency call outs from residents with a professional and positive approach to work to ensure that all residents’ needs are met in accordance with Lendlease standards and Resident Committee requirements.

To be successful you must have:

  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate ideal (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Prior experience in a Carer role or within the aged care industry
  • Certificate III in Community Services OR currently studying nursing (desirable)
  • Strong customer service focus and a genuine interest in working with the elderly
  • Highly motivated and able to take initiative
  • General administration skills
