A unique opportunity has arisen for a Community Engagement and Development Manager, within the Urban Regeneration team, to work on a high-profile project in Sydney’s CBD.

As one of two Community Engagement and Development Managers working on the Barangaroo South project, you will be responsible for collaboratively delivering stakeholder and community engagement and community development initiatives for the project. You will be supported by the National Urban Regeneration Development Engagement Manager.
As a direct link between the community and the project, you will be supporting Lendlease’s vision to ‘Create the Best Places’ by enhancing our relationship and connection with the community and project stakeholders, whilst increasing project awareness and endorsement to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the project, Lendlease and the community.
This role would suit an individual with a sound background in Stakeholder Engagement and Community Development where you have had experience working on a high-profile project during the construction stage. Experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders (both internal and external), with the ability to influence outcomes that deliver shared value for the customer and the business, would be highly desirable.
Your exceptional interpersonal skills, as well a highly developed communication skills, will help to develop solid and authentic relationships with the neighbouring community, our government partner and internal stakeholders. Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision is key.
The Stakeholder Engagement and Community Development Manager will be based in our Head office at Barangaroo and report to the National Development Engagement Manager.
This position is for a 12-month fixed term period with the option of either full or part time hours (4 days a week minimum).
