We are now seeking a talented Bid Writer, based in our Barangaroo office, to support work winning activity nationally. This newly created role will be an integral part of our Transport Infrastructure pre-contracts team, responsible for developing, reviewing and editing proposal content.

As Bid Writer, you will be an effective communicator, able to work with technical subject matter experts to elicit information, and develop strategic bid responses that are client centric, concise and compelling. You will also support the development and enhancement of bid content libraries, case studies and other work winning tools.

You will thrive in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships.

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Qualifications in marketing, communications and/or publishing
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing and submissions (ideally for PPPs)
  • Exceptional attention to detail; strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Initiative, and an ability to think outside the box in sourcing and communicating information
  • Ability to respond quickly to change
  • Willingness to travel interstate, and work flexible hours, if required to suit bid timelines
  • Advanced MS Word skills
  • The ability to work on multiple submissions concurrently
  • Advanced time management skills supporting your ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience managing submissions/proposals is ideal, but not mandatory
