As the Assistant Development Manager, your role will be primarily to assist the development team supporting the Communities projects with potential direct responsibility of a task. The role will enable you to gain exposure to all aspects of the residential development process across a wide range of key tasks including;
Coordinating the operations of the project, from the design phase to delivery, including authority approvals, procurement and production through to the civil works and on/off maintenance phases.
Provide data and support to ensure the financial performance of the project and its stages are in line with the project’s Commercial Assessment and Business Plan.
Maintain key client and stakeholder relationships where appropriate in addition to internal stakeholder liaison and project team coordination.
You will have a tertiary level qualification in Property, Development, Planning, Land Economics, or other related field as well as have previous experience in a similar role; residential/land development experience is desirable. You should have a good understanding of common planning issues coupled with commercial acumen which will prove invaluable when working to business plans, forecasts, and budgets.
You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, and a collaborative nature. Both are key with engaging with multiple stakeholders concurrently. You will also have the capacity to develop and implement innovative solutions.
