Your Opportunity

The Workplace Manager has a dual reporting line to both the National Workplace Services Manager and also the Head of Hospitality & Workplace Concierge. The role is responsible for managing a small team of professionals that deliver services to the local firm in the following areas;

  • Building security
  • Mail and print services
  • Hospitality & concierge services
  • Overall facilities management for our workplace

You will:

  • Manage a secure and functional agile work environment
  • Take ownership of vendor and contractor management
  • Successfully lead and develop a team of professionals
  • Achieve budgeted financial operational targets

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience might include:

  • Nationally recognised Facility Management Accreditation
  • Current and accredited First Aid Certificate
  • Security clearance or the ability to meet the requirements to obtain clearance
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management of a medium to large commercial Workplace focused on soft services (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing Concierge & Hospitality operational functions. (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing and developing a small team (Mandatory)
  • Proven success in managing key stakeholder relationships with both internal and external parties (Mandatory)
  • Proven track record in managing multiple activities and priorities in a project or business environment with a high degree of autonomy and self-organisation (Mandatory)
  • Sound knowledge and understating of WHS policies and guidelines (Mandatory)
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of leasing obligations and terminology (Preferred)
  • Experience in professional services firm (Advantageous)
  • Experience in hospitality within a corporate environment (Advantageous)
