As Procurement Specialist, focus will be to work with the National Procurement Manager to support the execution and implementation of strategic sourcing, category management strategies and procurement processes.  Assist in maximizing value for KPMG stakeholders and minimizing supplier risk. This role also provides reporting support and works with Category Leads to identify and deliver best value solutions. This role will initially be a fixed term contract for 12 months

 

Your Opportunity

 You will:

  • Develop supply sources, pre-qualify vendors, and perform due diligence activities including risk identification & mitigation, across a variety of categories including Recruitment, Contracting and Professional Services.
  • Manage various contracting processes, such as the evaluation of bids and the awarding and termination of contract
  • Negotiate and influence internal stakeholders and contract owners on changes requires in suppliers and /or contract terms
  • Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations

  • Proven experience in a Procurement role with significant exposure to Contract Negotiation and Management
  • Ability to interpret data and to also present data in a meaningful format. Strong Excel skills required.
  • Strong commercial acumen; the ability to consider alternative courses of actions weighing the long-term and short-term commercial consequences of each, in order to arrive at a decision based on the overall impact, ensuring optimal benefit to KPMG.
  • A strategic outlook; to be able to cut through issues and determine correct option to approach market.
