KPMG's Restructuring Services team, within the Deal Advisory division, has an opportunity for a high performing Analyst – Manager to join the Perth team. If you have started your career in formal insolvency and want to take the next step in your career to corporate advisory and restructuring this could be the role for you!

The role will combine a focus on both insolvency and corporate advisory engagements, and individuals will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of engagements in an outstanding environment to learn and develop professionally.

Your new role
Building on a solid foundation of insolvency experience, you will:

  • Assist in the delivery of a range of insolvency appointments
  • Begin to develop your skills in corporate restructuring and distressed advisory assignments which is a core service offering of our practice
  • Advise clients of the firm and assist them through times of distress or change
  • Liaise with senior executives and other key stakeholders to assist with delivering the varying engagements
  • Work with KPMG resources from across a range of divisions and work within a transactional environment alongside colleagues from Mergers and Acquisitions, Debt Advisory, Transaction Services and others
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing proposals, pitch packs and undertake the analysis of target opportunities

What we are looking for
Using your well-developed strategic, financial and technical expertise, you will also have:

  • Experience in insolvency assignments, particularly Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations and DOCA's
  • Experience in managing small insolvency engagements, or being part of a team in larger assignments
  • Experience with MYOB insolvency
  • You will be a part or fully qualified accountant seeking to expand into corporate advisory and restructuring
  • A positive mindset and strong commercial and interpersonal skills
