KPMG SGA is the in-house team of Chartered Building Surveyors, Environmental Scientists and Building Certifiers with full service teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth plus representatives offices in Auckland and Singapore. Focusing primarily on commercial property: office, retail, industrial, hotels it also is well represented across other sub groups.  At present we have an opportunity for a Building Compliance Consultant to join our Sydney office.

 

Your New Role

We are seeking an experienced Building Compliance Consultant who is eligible to be accredited as a Grade A1 Certifier. You will have the capability to assess the compliance and condition of property assets and produce professional quality reports for high level institutional clients. You will also be involved in the provision of Building Code and building legislation advice nationally for policy and technical development by government agencies.

 

You Bring to the Role

  • Good knowledge of buildings and properties (e.g. 5yrs+ practical experience) and the problems and issues to look for when dealing with due diligence assessments;
  • The ability to write and present a cohesive, coherent and technically sound report for readership by high level executives;
  • Excellent liaison skills with fellow professional consultants to be able to source relevant information for compilation in reports and assessments;
  • A very professional demeanour that will allow interaction with high level property executives in formal and informal settings.
