We have an opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join our Queensland Government sector as an Account Coordinator based in Brisbane. The primary purpose of the role is to support the Lead Partner and BD Director with the co-ordination and administration of key activities for the QLD Government Strategic Account

Your role

As an Account Coordinator, you will deliver results by

  • Being an active member of the Queensland Government leadership team by supporting Lead Partner and BD Director with the co-ordination and administration and operational support of the QLD Government Strategic Account
  • Support the BD Director and Pursuit Leader/Manager in managing the end-to-end pursuit process, including following up on proposal content and chasing up actions.
  • Coordinate, capture, distribute and monitor all incoming tender opportunities and administration of requirements against Master Service Agreements and reporting back to client as required
  • Developing a network with other Account Coordinators/Managers to suggest opportunities to replicate/leverage best practice activities and solutions
  • Assist in the collation and review of reports such as: Leads, Opportunities, and Market Analysis.
  • In conjunction with the BD Director, co-ordination of forward looking targets / revenue budgets, as well as BD budgets and reporting.
  • Support the Lead Partner and BD Director in ad-hoc preparation and distribution of material for the client service team – all strategic account presentations, research of client markets and client strategies, revenue reports.
  • Support the BD Director and Lead Partner with annual target setting processes.
  • Co-ordination of and engagement with the CST, development of structured meeting agendas for CST meetings, documentation (eg. account plans, organisation charts, relationship maps) and follow-up of key action points from the CST meetings.
  • Liaise and work with QLD Government sector CST coordinators to ensure consistency and focus which aligns to the overall account strategy and operations
  • Work with Sector Growth Managers and firmwide Marketing Managers to understand latest thought leadership development and its applicability for government.

You will bring to the role

In order to be successful in this role you will require:

  • Degree Qualified, Preferably Business/Commerce, Marketing/Communications
  • Knowledge of the Government sector and polictical frameworks is highly desirable
  • High level of English literacy. Excellent writing, speaking and editing skills
  • Experience project managing activities with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders
  • Account coordination management experience highly preferred or attained quickly
  • Experience drafting and turning around tailored and succinct communications
  • Experience in a professional services or large complex matrix organisations an advantage
  • Good use of CRM systems and other tools to gather information and report/develop insights
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
