The Opportunity

We’re growing our people and performance function and we’re looking for an experienced, senior HR Business Partner to support our operations at a local level while developing and implementing major national initiatives across IR, Workforce Planning and Labour Cost Management.

Working alongside a team of bold thinkers, this role will allow you to help shape the future for our recently merged businesses as we dive into a period of transformation with an ‘all hands on deck’ approach.

We’ll still be doing the day-to-day HR activities (think employee relations, recruitment, EA’s, talent management and so on) but we’ll be doing all of this with the future in mind, bringing the business along for the ride.

What this looks like:

  • You will truly partner with your key stakeholders at a Senior Management and site management level
  • Support the people function for the local Iplex Queensland client group of approx. 220 people
  • Develop and implement the national IR strategy for the wider business
  • Lead major national initiatives in workforce planning, recruitment, leave and labour cost management
  • Embed the overarching people and performance strategy and organisations values across multiple sites
  • Build people capability to fulfil longer term strategic goals and objectives

About You

You are a tertiary qualified, passionate Human Resources, People & Performance, Employee Experience (which ever you like to call it) generalist that is driven, fast paced, happy and enjoys communicating with people. You’ll have a strong IR bent, with prior experience leading EA negotiations in a large, complex organisation. Just like our operations teams, you love to streamline processes, have a high attention to detail and value a well-defined framework - and if they don’t exist, your love of efficiency kicks in and creates them.
