Financial Decisions Tax & Accounting is a rapidly growing tax and accounting practice that specialises in SMSF accounting and compliance. You will be working within a financial services company in the Northern Beaches that specialises in wealth management, superannuation, insurance, mortgages, tax & accounting and estate planning.

The firm is looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to work alongside our Principal, Accountant and Financial Advisers. Referrals are the basis of our business and we at Financial Decisions Tax & Accounting are committed to delivering an exceptional client experience by building personalised long term relationships with our clients.

Your skills & experience

We are looking for an excellent communicator, someone who is passionate about the industry and someone who will go the extra mile. Great start up position for a university degree qualified individual or an experienced Accounting Administrator with more than 5 years experience in an Accounting Practice.

The role

This is an amazing opportunity for a proactive, self-motived and driven individual. Reporting to the Principal, your role will be predominantly based around supporting the Principal with the following;

Be responsible for the day to day running of our accounting practice.

SMSF Administration and accounting using Class Super.

Preparation of basic income tax returns.

Manage workflow supervision in order to meet client expectations and time frames via Handisoft Job Flows.

Liaise with ATO and ASIC to deal with clients' tax issues.

Lodge various Returns.

Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office.

General Administration.
