Manager, Cyber - Sydney

You will belong to an international network of specialists helping our clients transform risk functions and implement technology solutions that support risk management and governance. Our Cyber Security team is a well-established, dedicated and vibrant team that is designed to help our clients protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of their information.

 
Your key responsibilities
 

In your role as a Manager in our Cyber Security team you will:

  • Be involved in security risk management services for many of our largest global clients
  • Help identify security gaps in solution designs and design practical solutions to remediate them
  • Be dedicated to operational and delivery excellence
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas
  • Learn about how cyber threat management, identity management, privacy and resilience can be transformed

Skills and attributes for success
 

We’re looking for people with the following experience:

  • Privacy, data protection, Information Security and strategy concepts
  • Experience in assessing an implementing security and risk standards including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, IRAP, PSPF, AS/NZS 4360
  • Experience in running engagements with exceptional client service
  • Systems security skills in assessment, design, architecture, management and reporting application control and security implementation, program and project delivery design, architecture and solution design would be desirable.
  • Industry related certification desired

To qualify for the role you must have

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in either a technical implementations, IT Risk or an IT Security consulting role – ideally with a consulting or industry background
  • A Bachelor's and/or post graduate degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related major
  • Strong project management, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Sales and client relationship  experience
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Have a drive to build a team and grow your cyber security career to the next level
  • Be willing to travel as required

You will impress us with your technical skills, however, it will be your strong communication skills, ability to build and develop relationships and commitment to delivering excellence in client service that will stand you apart.

 
Ideally, you’ll also have

  • The successful candidate must hold or be willing to pursue related professional certifications such as the CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA.
  • Experience and/or willingness to work in cross sector industries
