About the role:

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Drafter to join our Adelaide Energy & Resources team and play a part in the technical delivery of a large number of projects.  This position is one based on the growth of our business in Adelaide, whilst also providing support to projects throughout Australia.

To be successful in this position you will need to come armed with experience in either heavy industry, mining or oil & gas projects from a design perspective.  Any exposure to working with regionally dispersed teams will also be highly regarded.

The requirements of the position will include:

  • General drafting duties
  • Layout of piping, plant and associated equipment and supporting Infrastructure
  • Maintain drawing registers and associated documentation
  • Liaise with the engineering team

Requirements, Skills & Attributes

  • Ability to adapt to multiple client standards in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • Experience with 3D software packages 
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a team environment
