About the role:

Aurecon’s global Energy, Resources and Manufacturing team provides expertise across many key markets, including Energy Utilities, Renewable Energies, Traction Power, Infrastructure, Defence, Mining and Manufacturing. We are currently inviting applications from Electrical Engineers to join the team at our Docklands office in Melbourne. This role will be offered on a permanent staff basis with outstanding career development opportunity.

The requirements of the position will include:

  • Support the Energy, Resources and Manufacturing team to undertake and lead all manner of Defence projects
  • Utilise local and inter-office work collaboration capabilities to enhance delivery of projects
  • Promote, test and implement innovative ideas and concepts to further improve delivery processes and the clients experience
  • Develop, maintain and apply a working knowledge of relevant regulatory, engineering legislation, building codes and standards as they apply to projects

What we are looking for:

  • Australian citizenship to enable successful application for Defence Security Clearance
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Exposure to multi-disciplined projects
  • Strong design, analytical, and project management skills
  • Previous HV and general power systems experience including any experience in applying the Department of Defence Infrastructure standards will be highly regarded.
  • Refined communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for continual learning and development
