DevOps Engineer

Accelerate the growth of Digital Banking in Australia 

Help us build the next generation of platforms to support the development of our Banking services for our Banking and Financial Services division.

As an experienced DevOps Engineer, you will need to possess a strong background in cloud technologies and a sound understanding of Agile, DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles and technologies. Your emphasis will be on accelerating the speed to market of new products and features for our award-winning digital banking platform.  You will be a self-motivated individual who is driven by achieving business outcomes through a collaborative approach. In addition, you will possess strong troubleshooting skills, the creativity to problem solve in new and innovative ways, and you will be able to provide mentorship and guidance to your colleagues. You’ll also be passionate about exploring new technologies to allow us to deliver optimal customer experiences every time.

We anticipate that to excel in this role your technical skills will include:

  • have 2+ years’ experience with architecting and deploying applications on the cloud
  • experience with container and container-management technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • experience with CI/CD (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven) and Automation software (e.g. Ansible, Puppet)
  • strong scripting (e.g. Python, Bash, JSON, Groovy) and automation skills
  • solid operating system (Linux, Windows) and SQL skills
  • experience with Web and Application Server technologies (e.g. Apache Tomcat, JBoss).
