About the work:

As the Commercial Analyst you will drive and influence the commercial direction of Solutions by Deloitte by generating commercially astute analysis and insight to the leadership team. You’ll be working with multiple stakeholders from Product Managers, SMEs, Finance to IT Delivery to drive analytical rigour to improve business decisions and ultimately business growth.

Ultimately being a natural communicator you’ll assist in transforming abstract concepts into intellectual property and insights.

Key responsibilities:

  • Development of business cases / funding requests for submission to the Solutions by Deloitte Advisory Board and / or Investment Committee to drive business growth
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies for DS products and product bundles in collaboration with operations and other stakeholders in order to maximize revenue and customer acquisition
  • Source, screen and commercially evaluate new digital products through working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of Commercial activities such as pricing, tactical marketing and other activities / campaigns in the market by working closely with Marketing and / or Finance for inputs and ensuring alignment to strategy and ROI targets
  • Coordination of commercial projects and campaigns such new customer propositions or 3rd party alliances, on time and in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities

Desirable experience:

  • Experience in commercial analysis, evaluation and reporting
  • Qualified or working towards CA, CPA or relevant business tertiary qualification
  • Experience working in a tech environment supporting digital products / SaaS
  • Experience in commercial organisations and / or the professional services industry (i.e. accounting, business consulting, risk consulting, tax services, etc.)
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator across Tech Support and Development, Marketing, Finance, Inside Sales, Business Development and Product Management
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication
