Senior Analyst - Financial Crime

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst who will participate in the delivery of a wide range of exciting and challenging financial crime and misconduct prevention, detection and investigations services to clients, primarily involving fraud, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing, and sanctions.

In this role you will be exposed to:

About your experience
You will bring with you the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Law or related field
  • Previous work experience involving financial crime and misconduct prevention, detection and investigations
  • Highly developed interviewing and facilitation skills
  • Ability to provide client service excellence through technical expertise, commercial acumen and communication
  • Strong financial, analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A motivation for continuous learning and development
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability and willingness to travel on short notice
  • Experience in organisational review and application of change, including analysing business information and records and evaluating organisational systems, structures and functions, processes and procedures would be considered an advantage
  • A developing network in the Western Australian market place and experience of serving clients in the Western Australian market, including in the Energy and Resources industry and Public Sector will be highly regarded but not essential.

The minimum salary for this advert is 70,000AUD which is inclusive of a 9.5% super contribution.
