Junior Sales & Pursuits Advisor

The National Sales & Pursuits team exists to work with teams to identify, pursue and win targeted opportunities with our most important clients across our most important sectors.

About the role:

You will play an important role in combining strategic thinking with excellence in delivering and driving business development programs. You will demonstrate the ability to take a longer-term view of opportunities and strategic pursuits. In this role, you will display competent sales, business development and project management skills.

The purpose of this new role in the National Sales & Pursuits team is to work with teams and senior sales coaches to identify, pursue and win opportunities in priority sectors and markets, with a focus on ‘Major Pursuits’. A component of this role will also include the day-to-day planning, execution and reporting of activities associated with a sales program.

You will display the combination of practical project management skills to drive and coordinate a pursuit in line with a client’s buying cycle and be the integrator of the functional contributions the Marketing, Communications & Business Development team make in this process.

You will work alongside a senior Sales & Pursuits Director to shape and execute the pursuit strategy across some of Deloitte’s largest sectors and market segments, including the development of sales programs, building of pursuit teams, identification of growth opportunities and the pursuit of large-scale engagements.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have between 3-5 years of experience in enterprise level sales and a desire to shape a career in this area at the world’s largest professional services firm.

You must possess an understanding of sales process, sales coaching and the ability to engage with and influence senior leadership and other stakeholders.
