About the role:
Exciting responsibilities await you
• Join a team of motivated and enthusiastic engineers providing cloud infrastructure support to various customers in a broad range of industries
• Protect and improve reliability and availability of the environments we support
• Help drive technical improvements to our customer’s platforms and environments
• Protect your customer’s solutions including availability and service level compliance across a portfolio of accounts across multiple industries and geographies
• Form strong working relationships with both staff and customer stakeholders
• Help technical staff prioritise their workloads
• Influence, lead and form the future of Deloitte Operate’s Specialist Technology capability.
• Act as a technical owner of issues, problems or projects to high value customers.

About you:
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in regards to stakeholder management (internal and external)
• Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills.
• Experience working as Ops Manager or Incident Manager or Infra Manager with some light experience with project management, particularly scrum/agile would be desirable.
• Ability to lead and influence technical teams despite not possessing detailed specialist technical knowledge
• Ability to digest and translate technical issues and options and present them to non technical decision makers, often customer management
• Can-do attitude
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, and Remedy
• ITIL V3 Certified
• Ability to lead small projects and activities. Project Delivery certifications such as Scrum/Agile/Prince2 highly desired.
• Available to be on-call after hours from time-to-time for which you will receive additional compensation
• Security experience or certifications particularly around cloud platforms favoured
• Experience with License or Certificate management in a managed services environment will be highly regarded:
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
