People & Performance Manager, Melbourne (12 month contract)

As the People & Performance Manager for Deloitte’s Risk Advisory business in Melbourne, you will work closely with Partners to deliver on the talent strategy in line with business priorities. This is a role where your strategic input in shaping the business is not only valued but sought after.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to own the relationships with Partner leaders for their particular part of the business and work closely on talent strategies. You will also play a critical role in owning portfolios under the national Risk Advisory talent strategy, and also locally delivering on firm-wide talent strategies. In addition, you will couple guidance from our central teams with your HR generalist expertise to advise and support the business with matters such as employee relations, leadership development, graduate recruitment, and transformation strategies.

About your experience
To be successful in this role you will have a strong generalist foundation, be able to think strategically and translate this into practical operational outcomes, and demonstrate strong problem solving and decision making ability. You will have the depth of experience to manage employee relations soundly and sound data analytics skills.
You will excel at nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders, and leverage these relationships to positively challenge thinking and influence outcomes. You will have strong employee relations experience and will be a clear communicator who is comfortable working in a fast paced, matrix environment.
We are a truly virtual team (Melbourne, Sydney and beyond) and you will report to the P&P Director for Risk Advisory who is based in Sydney so you will appreciate the value of working autonomously – with help only an IM away.
