The Opportunity

As a Full-Time (with the flexibility to work on Saturdays) Sales Consultant you will be available to work across our Camberwell, Richmond and Knox stores. You will help our Medibank customers choose the perfect cover for themselves and their families.

As part of a strong and supportive team that puts our Customers first, you’ll deliver an exceptional level of customer service as well as reaching sales and customers satisfaction targets.

By providing the best customer service and finding the most relevant products matched to our member’s needs you will naturally grow our customer advocacy, building confidence in our products and services. As a result, you will ensure our customers leave our stores better informed, better off and better supported by Medibank.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Finding sales opportunities in each customer interaction by providing solutions matched to our customer’s needs;
  • Achieving all daily KPI’s in relation to customer service, sales and retention activities;
  • Proactively seeking new business relationships while maintaining high levels of customer service.

About You

With a solid background in sales you are capable of connecting with a diverse range of customers and having in depth needs-based conversations to uncover their most suitable level of cover.  

You present as a highly motivated and engaged sales professional who thrives on a ‘sales through service’ culture. Remaining positive, resilient and accountable, you deliver operational excellence and achieve your targets. Your results driven nature will ensure a continual focus on service and delivery, helping you to be successful in a fast paced retail environment.

Bilingual skills in Cantonese and Mandarin will be highly desirable.
