Your Team:

Cash-flow and Transaction Services is comprised of six areas, Commerce & Platforms, Transaction Banking Solutions, Cash Management & Payment Solutions, Global Trade & Supply Chain Finance, Chief Operating Office and Strategic Projects. These businesses develop and support products for working capital needs, drive transaction banking sales and drive growth in our trade finance and international payments business.

The Compliance team is the cornerstone of the Commerce and Solutions team. The team is responsible for ensuring that the team comply with all relevant internal and external obligations.

The team has responsibility for managing PCI Compliance with against external standards, Scheme Compliance against Visa, ETSPOS, AMEX, UPI, BPAY and Mastercard standards and compliance with all relevant internal obligations that apply to the entire product team across product development, product management, logistics and operations, pricing and process management.

The team will partner as two in a box with Enterprise Services to deliver the appropriate technology solutions in the most efficient and effective manner.

Your impact & contribution:

Your primary contribution will be focused around championing excellence and transformation in Commerce Solutions Compliance.

This will include, but is not limited to pro actively identifying gaps in current internal and external compliance.

Prioritising and driving results to reduce the gaps and therefore our overall risk profile. Provide regular and insightful reports on the status and impact of gaps.

The impact of your contribution should result in:

  • A customer focused culture resulting in tangible improvement to our compliance
  • Optimisation of resources to maximise our level of compliance.

  • Identification of new ways to manage and improve our compliance.

Your responsibilities:  Reporting to the Executive Director, Operational Integrity, Commerce Solutions your role works closely with other teams in Commerce Solutions as well as key stakeholders including Product Partners, Risk, IT, Sales, Marketing, Fulfilment and clients in order to drive business outcomes.

  • Compliance – Responsible for ensuring that Commerce Solutions complies with all internal Compliance Requirements associated with Product Management across the entire lifecycle.
  • PCI Compliance – Responsible for driving the continued increase in PCI Compliance and the development of a model for Level 3 and 4 merchants
  • Scheme Compliance – Responsible for developing a clear plan to remediate the backlog of scheme compliance activities and ensure that we have an approach to comply with new mandates.
  • Risk Management – Identification and mitigation of the risks associated with compliance across areas of the Commerce Solutions Business.
  • Project Management – Delivery of a large number of projects which will transform our internal and external compliance levels.
