Senior Site Engineer, Airports - Gin Gin
Airports Team at Beca
With nearly 10 years’ experience in the Asia-Pacific region, our Australian Airports team recognises that every airport project has its own unique challenges. No matter where our clients are - the tropical airfields of the Pacific Islands, Defence airfields in Australia and New Zealand, or larger scale city airports - we can bring together the right skills to meet their needs.
We embrace the fact that people are our greatest asset. It’s our people that set us apart, and who our clients keep coming back to. We are passionate about what we do and the culture we have developed, and we believe that key to our success is the teamwork and collaboration fostered, not only within our Airports team but right across the Beca Group. It’s this culture that allows us to deliver excellence in technical delivery, client service and innovation in all that we do.
Our Airports team specialises in the design of heavy duty pavements, airfield drainage, bulk earthworks, general civil engineering and airfield planning. We have developed a reputation in industry for our commitment to excellence, successful project completion and sustained business growth.
A recent defence project win at RAAF Base Gin Gin, WA is moving into construction phase and we’re looking for Senior Site Engineer to join the team on a 6+6 month Fixed Term Contract. Based on site you will be responsible for construction monitoring and reporting.
You’ll will have extensive site monitoring experience in heavy duty pavements construction on airside projects. Given the nature of our work you will have knowledge/capability in one or more of the following design software AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil 3D FAARFIELD, MX, AVIPLAN or 12D.
Due to the nature of the work you will have the ability to gain an Australian Defence Security Clearance/Australian citizenship.
Our clients do incredible things every day. They are transforming their communities and changing lives through the structures they build, the products they manufacture, the services they provide, and the families they support. And we are right there alongside them. We are the problem-solvers – the thinkers, the creators, the planners and practitioners – who understand their vision and make things happen! We are 3000-plus professionals spread across 19 offices across the Asia Pacific.
While our experience has been 98 years in the making, it’s the fresh talent we’re nurturing, the innovative thinking we’re developing and the connections that we’re forging, that get us most excited for the future.
