Home Finance Manager - SA


Home Finance Managers are mobile and must possess comprehensive knowledge of all Bankwest products and services in order to support needs based conversations, to offer appropriate self-service options and pro-actively retain customers.

Principal accountabilities:

1. Identifying customer needs and providing efficient, accurate and quality solutions across all customer segments.

2. Helping customers achieve their home finance goals whilst building genuine long lasting relationships.

3. Driving community engagement and generating own business development opportunities through community relationships including initiatives such as the Employee Benefits program (Work Perks).

4. Offering new solutions, demonstrate Bankwest self service delivery functions or service opportunities for customers including referrals to other specialists inclusive of business banking, merchants, wealth and private banking.

5. Resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

6. Always take ownership of customers’ queries and follow up in a timely manner.

7. Proactively retaining customers through conversations and via outbound calling initiatives.

8. Maintaining existing proprietary relationships.

Knowledge/skills/experience:

• Outstanding customer service

• Previous home lending experience

• Able to handle customer complaints within delegate guidelines and escalating as appropriate

• Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to all tasks

• Able to work autonomously and with minimal supervision

• Able to work in a demanding environment

• Experience identifying customer needs and referring opportunities

• Knowledge of competitor products and services
