To support increasing demand for our services across Western Australia we are inviting applications from Senior Environmental Scientists who are interested in joining a high performing team in our Perth office. We have a broad client base in Government, Industry, Mining and Defence and we’ll be particularly keen to see experienced candidates from within these industries with exposure to;

  • Environmental Approvals (Part IV and Part V)
  • Environmental and compliance auditing
  • Environmental Plans
  • Environmental Impact Assessments

Demonstrable specialist skills in one or more of these areas will be highly regarded.

The primary role responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively to provide technical environmental advice to multidisciplinary project teams, our internal stakeholders and external customers across a range of various infrastructure and resource projects.
  • Project managing multiple environmental projects of varying size, subject and complexity
  • Preparing reports of a high technical and editorial quality.  
  • Assisting in building the capability of the environmental team, the identification of new business opportunities and supporting the preparation of bids and tenders.
  • Carrying out field work where required, and managing field teams, sub-consultants and sub-contractors

Shortlisted candidates will most likely be degree qualified in an appropriate field such as Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or Earth Science and have significant similar experience in a consulting environment undertaking environmental studies. This experience with a significant proportion spent in Western Australia, will have been gained across a broad range of industries such as Transport, Property, Resources, Water and Government. A working knowledge of WA and national environmental legislation is essential.
