About the role:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Senior People & Culture Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This position has the ability to make a significant impact on our organisation’s culture, talent strategy, employee engagement and experience and drive development and retention.
Working closely with business leaders and teams to align people strategies while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Located at our Chatswood corporate office, we are conveniently close to a major public transport hub.
A current drivers licence will be required for this position as the role will be both in the office and out on site working directly with our operational leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership teams to design and execute people strategies that drive organisational performance and align with Confluence Water’s values.
- Lead and support talent acquisition initiatives to attract top talent for diverse roles across the organisation.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement programs focused on leadership development, career progression, and employee retention.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and fostering a positive employee experience during organisational shifts.
- Analyse people data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas to drive organisational growth and / or improvement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing coaching, conflict resolution, and support as needed.

Confluence Water, a Ventia, Downer and Jacobs Joint Venture, is one of three Regional Delivery Partnerships providing services for Sydney Water. We work hard to ensure that Sydney Water keeps running for people who live in the North Region of Sydney - rain, hail or shine. We are often the first to reach an emergency during severe weather events and we are responsible for the delivery of an unprecedented pipeline of capital works over the next 10 years.
