About the role:
This is a full-time apprenticeship based in our Maroochydore workshop. As Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, you will assist in the delivery of maintenance and minor corrective works for the safe and reliable operation of plant and equipment. You will assist with performing tests and inspections on equipment, while following workplace health and safety practices, accurately document work history and maintenance and provide a high level of customer service.

You will be mentored, complete on-the-job training and formal training.

  • A commitment to undertake and complete four years of formal training.
  • Demonstrated basic time management and creative skills for problem solving.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Year 12 Maths preferred and some experience operating electrical / mechanical tools.
  • C Class Drivers Licence and willingness to travel and work across the Unitywater region (Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Noosa).
