We are looking for school leavers to join our team as Business Trainees in 2025. A traineeship with Snowy Hydro is a unique opportunity to complete a TAFE qualification whilst gaining real world, on-the-job experience.

To be a Snowy Hydro trainee, you will be someone who:

  • will finish Year 12 in 2024
  • has a strong desire to learn and a curiosity about how business works
  • is committed to furthering their skills and knowledge through workplace on-the-job learning and study
  • can ‘think outside the box', help the team problem-solve and bring new ideas
  • has a keen eye for detail, good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • is proactive, punctual and reliable
  • shares Snowy Hydro's values of safety, teamwork, agility, decency, ownership and courage

As a trainee, you will

  • be employed on a full-time 12-month contract and be paid to learn while expanding your knowledge and experience (adding valuable skills and experience to your CV)
  • upon successful completion of your TAFE course, have gained an accredited Certificate III and IV in Business
  • be working with experts in their field, who will teach, mentor and support you through every step of your traineeship
  • build a supportive peer network with all levels within the business to share your ideas and experiences
