Member Engagement Officer

Join our Member & Community Engagement team as a Member Engagement Officer, where you'll be the first point of contact for our members on the phones, offering tailored solutions across our range of products and services. Your role is pivotal in shaping the member's experience and maintaining lasting relationships.

Hours, Training and Location

Start date 13th May with interviews scheduled to run on 18th April, so apply now!

  • Rate of pay at commencement is $30.55/hr + super + Penalty Rates!
  • Monday – Saturday Day Shifts
  • 25 hours per week, 5 days a week, 5 hours a day
  • Rotating shifts, with start times between 8.00AM and 10.00AM
  • Finish times between 1.00PM and 3.00PM
  • To ensure we set you up for success and give you all the support you need you will be required to be onsite at our Eight Mile Plains branch
  • Hybrid WFH option - combination of onsite and at home, available after 3 months based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage members with empathy and understanding, focusing on their unique needs.
  • Communicate effectively to understand and meet member expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of RACQ’s products, services, and policies.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture, demonstrate support and empathy for colleagues.

About you:

  • Passionate about customer service, if do not have experience, we are willing to work with you to train and upskill
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on listening and problem-solving.
  • Have a drive for excellence and thrive when working in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of a Year 12 High School Certificate.

Desirable:

  • Ideally 1-2 years of customer service experience in a related field or transferable skills aligned to this role.
