Reporting to the Lead People Partner this role is responsible for strategic execution of our people plan and processes as well contributing at an organisation level as responsible SME for a HR focus area.
What the day will look like
- Partner with business leaders at all levels to successfully deliver our people strategy to support business growth objectives
- Execute initiatives to attract, retain and develop talent including Aon’s Gender Equality strategies
- Manage people risk and demonstrate challenger- thinking and initiative to "lift the bar" on HR practice and people outcomes.
- Accountability for delivery of HR programs, initiatives and cyclical activities and supporting COE in delivering of People Organisation priorities
- Use your strong stakeholder management skills to co-ordinate Aon's Graduate Program
- Develop insights from data to diagnose issues and propose suitable solutions to improve productivity across the segment.
- Partner with business leaders to drive positive change to improve employee engagement and support the execution of targeted solutions.
- Play a leadership role in the design and execution of segment restructures, critical workforce planning initiatives and identify succession planning needs
- Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver business results
- Work cooperatively as part of the wider HR team, exchanging information and learning, assisting team members to achieve objectives and work outcomes.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Relevant prior experience in a HR Business Partner / similar role
- Effective stakeholder, interpersonal and influencing skills
- High level oral and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate large/complex organisational structures and manage change
- Experience delivering on key people cycles (Colleague Engagement, Talent Review, Performance & Remuneration Review)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to understand, interpret and analyse data
- Solid presentation skills and ability to drive discussions at senior level
- Project management and organisational skills
