Lead the strategic management and financial performance of HCF’s owned assets

 

As Senior Asset Manager your role is to manage property operations relating to facilities and asset operational management across HCF’s property portfolio. Leading the workplace management team, security team and facilities services team you will have full operational management of HCF corporate sites. Reporting directly to the Head of Property, you will be accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing management of the contracted outsourced provider ensuring that they meet all agreed KPI’s and terms under the contract.

 

This role will be focused on uplifting HCF’s approach and delivery to operational management of HCF properties, to drive commercial and operational benefits, whilst managing risk and compliance obligations. The role will also be responsible for leading and supporting small property projects and initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operational management of HCF Corporate assets, including sustainability, security, FM services, statutory compliance and capex management
  • Review current expiries and determine property specific risks associated with lack of tenancy security and what can be done to reduce these risks (short term and long term)
  • Review actions taken by Landlords to date on leases due to expiry to assess compliance with Retail Leases Act
  • Proactively manage future expiries by starting to work with landlords earlier and obtain information on potential sites that will be available to negotiate a more favourable deal for HCF
  • Drive third party vendor performance to deliver best in class services to the HCF property network
  • Ensure compliance to legislation, codes, directives and regulatory issues

 

About You

You will be an experienced Senior Asset Manager with strong stakeholder management skills as was all the ability to lead teams.

 

  • At least 10 years of experience in the Property leasing or Asset Management, preferably qualified in an Property and/or finance
  • Experience in administering a diverse property Portfolio including Commercial, Retail free hold and lease hold properties
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and influence others
  • Knowledge and experience of budget and finance management, including accrual and forecasting processes, analysis of risks and opportunities is required
  • Contract negotiation
  • Demonstrated ability in the areas of time management, working autonomously and within a team
  • Thorough knowledge of Lease administration and Property financial accounting
