DXC’s Intelligent Automation team plays a key role in bringing innovative solutions for process automation. Our aim is to enable enterprises to optimise their service delivery operations through the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

As a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant in RPA, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to our clients, designing and implementing RPA solutions, and providing project leadership and pre-sales support.

Your strong process analysis abilities, deep knowledge of RPA tools and methodologies, along with excellent customer-facing skills will be essential in designing and delivering automation initiatives that create measurable business outcomes.

Based in Melbourne or Sydney, you would join a team working from across the country, you will spend time on client sites, and there may be occasional travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, identify process automation opportunities, and develop RPA strategies aligned with their objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end RPA implementation projects, including process assessment, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Lead presales of RPA opportunities, including proposal and value proposition creation.
  • Provide direction and support enhancement requests to ensure the client automation platforms and automations are resilient.
  • Guide and mentor the team, providing technical expertise, performance feedback, and professional development support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in RPA technologies and methodologies and contribute to thought leadership.
  • Directly report to the Intelligent Automation Practice Partner or directly to the client

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in implementing and leading RPA projects, preferably as a consultant or in a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong knowledge of RPA tools and platforms such as Power Platform, Automation Anywhere, UiPath or Blue Prism.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide project leadership and technical guidance as part of a collaborative environment.
  • Deep understanding of process automation methodologies, including process assessment, solution design, bot development, and testing.
  • Excellent process analysis and problem-solving skills (Lean Sigma), with the ability to identify automation opportunities and design efficient solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications in RPA technologies are highly desirable.
