About the role:
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to help us better understand customer and stakeholder perceptions, preferences,  behaviour and experiences.  You will design and deliver a range of quantitative and qualitative research programs and manage ongoing data collection and analysis in-house and agency supported, to provide insights that inform performance monitoring, customer experience design, operational efficiency and strategic goals. You will support the communication of be comfortable communicating actionable insights to all level of stakeholders, ensuring insights are easy to understand and connected to how they can deliver improved business and customer outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering market and/or social research programs, including quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Skills in statistical and survey methodology, including advanced skills in quantitative analysis tools using Excel and statistical software platforms such as SPSS.
  • Experience or exposure working with digital analytics (Google Analytics) and/or advanced analytics (such as SQL or Python and/or using PowerBI or Tableau) would be desirable.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex information and data to report findings, identify trends and practical insights, with demonstrated data communication and visualisation skills to prepare reports and presentation packs.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to navigate business priorities to identify and enunciate corresponding research areas.
  • Demonstrated project management, time management and organisation skills.
  • This role may be required to participate in after hours work and be part of an on call roster as the need may arise to ensure the continuity of service to Unitywater's customers.
