The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre is a world-class high-performance computing facility supporting Australian researchers across fields like radio astronomy, energy, engineering, bioinformatics, and health. Based in Perth, Pawsey is a joint venture between CSIRO and four WA universities, with support from state and federal governments.
Home to Setonix—the Southern Hemisphere’s most powerful research supercomputer—Pawsey delivers cutting-edge computing, networking, and storage capabilities. Setonix is also one of the most energy-efficient HPC systems globally and underpins major projects like the Square Kilometre Array (SKA), ASKAP, and MWA. The centre is also exploring emerging technologies, including quantum computing.
This role offers the chance to architect solutions that support national and international researchers, working with a highly skilled team to deploy integrated, high-performance systems. It’s also an opportunity to learn more about the research driving global innovation—along with access to flexible working arrangements.

Salary: AU$114,219.00 - AU$123,605.00 per annum plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Indefinite / Specified term of X years / Casual
