Are you an experienced energy rater looking for a fresh direction, or an admin professional ready to dive into the technical world of energy efficiency? We are seeking a motivated Project Support Officer to join our team in an exciting ongoing role, and be part of a nationally significant initiative that’s shaping the future of sustainable housing in Australia.
As a Project Support Officer within CSIRO’s Social Impact and Living Labs team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the expansion of the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS), helping to improve the way we understand and model residential energy use. You will bring your well-developed communication, coordination and people skills to support researchers, energy raters, real estate professionals, and homeowners in trialling innovative approaches to data collection. From providing front-line customer support and being the public face of sharing CSIRO’s technical knowledge, to contributing to community engagement initiatives & events and supporting researchers with ethics applications, privacy statements and grants, you will have a multi-faceted role that will help drive meaningful change in how energy efficiency is understood and applied.

Location and office arrangements: Melbourne (Clayton), VIC (or Work-from-Home/Remotely)
