CSIRO’s Agriculture and Food research from gene to plate increases productivity and efficiencies at the farm level, improving the quality and yield of Australian crops, developing innovative food processing technologies, creating new value-added foods and growing the nation’s livestock, aquaculture and fishery industries. As an Agricultural-Climate Scientist you’ll be a part of the Resilience and Adaptation team of CSIRO Agriculture and Food’s Sustainability Program and will collaborate with expertise in Climate Science Centre and other parts of CSIRO. You will contribute to science and create impact around agricultural-climatic information that supports resilience and strengthens the farming and agribusiness community.
This is an exciting opportunity for researchers with expertise in both agricultural system and climate science with the ability to help in decision making at an enterprise scale and engage with both public and private sectors.
