Our Client Executive’s deal with the retention and acquisition of REI Landlord Insurance

You be working in a digital focused and team-based environment, using new technologies in a changing and growth business, with a focus on colleague’s personal and professional development in a key retention team.

What the day will look like

 

Your team is responsible for Aon’s distributor business model which utilises Real Estate agents as partners to transact Landlord Insurance via our new digital platform

 

  • Manage a Residential Landlord Insurance portfolio transacted through new Affinity digital platform
  • Achieve personal and team revenue targets within identified markets - working to clear KPI’s and targets across Acquisition and Retention
  • Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment
  • Negotiate new & renewal terms with internal and external underwritings
  • Partner with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to exceed client expectations
  • Multi-tasking whilst navigating a range of technologies
  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team and business
  • Work within company policy, compliance, laws and regulations
  • Participate in training and coaching sessions to develop technical knowledge

Skills and experience that will lead to success

 

  • Experience operating in a sales environment achieving clear targets and KPI’s
  • Experience in Insurance and relationship management OR in Financial Services, Health funds, Telco, Salary packaging or similar organizations servicing large client volumes
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and show initiative
  • Analyse information and data, to identify opportunities and prioritize
  • Possess a zest for learning and ability to make sense of information and learn systems and technologies at speed.
  • Sales mindset and ability to make a connection with clients (Sales)
  • Experience using software programs or systems that might include Salesforce, CRM, MS Excel and Outlook (training in Salesforce will be provided).
  • Tier 1 accreditation / Insurance Broking qualifications (desirable), enrolment into Tier 1 will be arranged on commencement
