Role Overview:
This role is for a true consultant, someone who likes working with clients, understanding challenges and providing solutions. As a Senior you will lead and work with other seniors and a solid team of intermediate and graduates. The Director and Principle also belive in good mentoring and are invested in growing you and your career.
They have a number of very exciting projects with long term impact for 2032 and beyond.
Whilst this is a senior role, they are open to considering intermediates with solid experience and consulting skills who enjoy working with clients as technical elements of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise in electrical systems design for various building types, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and educational facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs with architectural, structural, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct site visits, assessments, and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and identify optimization opportunities.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Min 4 years of experience in building services, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g Revit, Auto CAD, MEP) and calculation tools.
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
