Our client is a National Design firm with a well-established large Sydney studio and strong contacts and connections throughout the industry.
  
They have been operating Nationally in Health and Sciences for some years, with a multiple million-dollar strong pipeline of health work nationally they are looking for a new leader to spearhead the growth of this sector in NSW. They already have an established team of around 20 in the sector nationally and are looking to continue to grow a local NSW team under this person's leadership. With strong relationships nationally and a strong NSW network, they are ready to win work but need a leader with the experience, skills, and passion to lead the sector locally. Having grown the sector quickly in other states they have the formula and are eager to find the right person to execute the strategic plan.
  
Who they are looking for:
  
You could either be an established leader or an emerging leader looking for a pathway to become an industry leader and ideally have equity in a respected and profitable firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves what they do, likes working in a collaborative team of leaders and wants to create something that is theirs but with the backing of a well-established team and working with other leaders locally and nationally.
  
The Approach
  
Having grown sectors previously, the firm takes a long-term view and knows to grow a sector you start at the smaller scale, do a good job, build strong relationships, and continue to win larger and larger scale projects. Their initial plan in NSW is to win refurbishment work then to grow this to smaller scale greenfield up to 30 mill, beyond that it will be building up to larger scale. As they deliver both refurbished and larger scale projects they have the ability to deliver a large range of work to build a strong pipeline. In their other states, Health is already a multimillion-dollar sector and they hope to replicate the same success using the same formula in NSW.

Leveraging on strong relationships in both national and local health and science and associated clients, project managers, and consultants there is a strong capacity to build a pipeline of work in a immediately. Combined with your own network, reputation, and desire to grow something this is a winning combination that has worked successfully both in health and other sectors.

This is a collaborative environment where Partners and leaders work together to set each other up for success and enable you to build upon existing relationships whilst bringing in your own connections and relationships. They have a national sector strategy focus so you have both the support of local leaders and national sector-focused leaders.
  
With a proven track record in the sector and a focus on starting from smaller project sizes to the medium 30 mill project size there is a strong and proven strategy that has enabled them to grow the sector into a leading income sector within the business within a very short period of time.
  
As a strategic and growing organisation they are focused on finding talented people and letting them shine. With a proven track record of people coming in at Associate level and being promoted to Equity Partnership within a few years, you have the ability to come in with all the right ingredients and to have the opportunity to share in the highly successful and well-run organisation.

You may be an established or emerging leader who understands the health and science sector and enjoys leading projects. You will enjoy working with clients and seeing client and stakeholder expectations are met. You enjoy delivering good outcomes and results. We don’t mind your focus, whether it is design, delivery, or planning. You will have the ability to grow your own team to complement your skills and approach.
  
This is an opportunity for you to step into the limelight and be able to shine and do things they way you want, delivering great health design outcomes. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to either get out of siloed or competitive bigger firms and have the ability to have a stake holding the business they are building. Alternatively, you may be working in a similar firm, with a desire to work on larger scale projects and are looking to join a larger organisation with the infrastructure and team to enable you to work on larger scale projects.
  
This is a dynamic organisation that is strategic and future-focused in its approach so it is a great place for someone looking to do things better and make a difference to the industry and sector.
  
What is on offer:
  
You may either come in at Partner level or Senior Associate level on a pathway to partnership. Equity is always an option on the table, especially for those who are part of the ongoing growth and succession.
