Client Manager Entertainment – New Business and Retention

 

Come and join our specialist Entertainment practice during our exciting time of growth and expansion. Can you bring substantial Entertainment experience utilising binders for public liability, event cancellation and equipment to a key, client-facing role?

The role will lead the A Class client management as well as drive new business to further embed Affinity within the dynamic Entertainment industry in Australia. You will be responsible for leading a growth strategy, handling and building key relationships with clients both external and internal, product development with a focus on binder products and co-ordination of service solutions to A class clients and event organisers in the Entertainment segment. Mentoring and developing an Entertainment focused industry team, you will build on client retention and revenue generation across the Entertainment portfolio. This role will report directly to our Senior Client Manager and Client Director of our Aon Entertainment team.

What the day will look like

 

You will primarily be driving new business take-up through direct and channel partner strategies, internal Aon stakeholders, product innovation and digitisation of products, identifying marketing strategies to assist in developing new business for online and direct.

Further responsibilities will include:

  • Lead top-level client relationship management and build reputation that leads to new opportunities and strengthens existing client arrangements
  • Develop and deliver an annual strategy focused on delivering revenue growth
  • Help to mentor the team on products and binder management
  • Lead wider Aon stakeholders to ensure contributed solutions are delivered to enhance client experience
  • Cultivate and build relationships with Aon event promoters and direct clients in the festival and event space
  • Assist with broking and carrier (insurance partner) marketing to ensure the best outcomes for clients
  • Develop retention plans to maintain and grow our A class clients and online opportunities
  • Seek improvement in efficiency & processes to optimize resources & profitability
  • Develop thought leadership & articulate Aon’s proposition to external and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a technical referral point for colleagues
  • Act as a binder signatory
  • Lead and support Business Development activity for both online and direct client opportunities
  • Deliver client education programs and conference attendance both online and in person, potentially involving interstate travel
