Adobe Marketing Platform Lead


We have an exciting project role opportunity for an Adobe Marketing Platform Lead, with potential to extend to other employment opportunities in future. This role is part of Marketing, Membership and Digital and will be focused on the marketing campaign automation platform and ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design the future campaign architecture, working in collaboration with Marketing, product teams and technology
  • Work with design community for email template framework, components and structures that enhances the RACQ brand
  • Support Channel Execution team on data model and activation activities
  • Build the basic email framework into AJO including templates and component library
  • Contribute to the build of AEP and how it interacts with AJO
  • Builds capability across the division on marketing technologies, best-practice marketing guidelines for personalisation and other journey orchestration efforts
  • Works closely with Analytics, Technology, and external partners to better utilise data through owned and paid marketing channels
  • Focus on building extensible member and consumer audience targeting options for marketing campaigns
  • Facilitate team training and upskilling on marketing platforms

About you:

  • Extensive, technical experience with Adobe platforms including Journey Optimizer/Campaign, Experience Platform, CDP, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target
  • Experience in building audiences and segments for improved marketing targeting
  • Understanding of spam and privacy compliance for direct marketing and personalisation
  • Experience in planning and delivering marketing comms journeys
  • Ability to code email templates from a design library
  • Strong project delivery experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to form meaningful relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience with database management, data integrity practices, and data modelling
  • High-level understanding of data engineering type tasks
