About the Role 

Role Type: Full-time


An existing   role with ANZ Corporate/Institutional  Risk, you will work closely with key stakeholders in Credit, Legal and product partners and will be tasked with the identification and mitigation of technical risks associated with delivery of Real Estate  Development projects for new and existing clients Your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): 

  • Supervise the banks Quantity Surveyor Panel  (QS) in regard  compliance issues
  • Appoint the appropriate  QS  to the appropriate  real estate construction project and then review compliance in accordance with the banks brief
  • Assessment of building companies  and individuals experience to execute  real estate contracted projects, including assessment on key suppliers and sub-contractor
  • Attending site visits with company representatives and external consultants (as required) to opine on progress against forecasts cost and time and opine on consistency with monthly documentation
  • Strong understanding of the development and real estate delivery process 

About You 

To be considered for this opportunity you are expected to possess and demonstrate the following experience, qualifications and skills:  

  • Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in real estate tendering and delivery of real estate  projects across multiple disciplines and sectors
  • Understanding of ‘best practice’ with respect to successful development delivery, construction and tendering strategies which lead to successful execution, including reporting regimes which detail cost and time to complete
  • Experience in quantity surveying work within Real Estate Development and Construction projects including  for at least 10  QS experience
  • Proven track record in undertaking Risk Management
  • Consultancy experience across multiple disciplines (highly regarded)
  • Tertiary qualifications in technical competency (Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil engineering or similar qualification)
