About The Role

Role Type: Permanent Full-time
 
Lending Services manages high risk customers and impaired assets to achieve the best outcome for both ANZ and our customers. Lending Services has four strategic pillars, being Customer Experience, Staff Experience, Trusted Advisor and Well Managed.
 
As an Associate Director for Lending Services, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of the Bank’s high risk and impaired assets, and you will manage a team of diverse professionals. As a strong leader, you will create clarity for your team and promote a culture of excellence, integrity, trust, continuous learning and growth.
 
Lending Services is focused on (1) treating customers ethically and fairly, (2) managing provisions within expectations such that there are no surprises, (3) managing reputational risk, (4) keeping stakeholders within the Bank adequately informed, (5) improving efficiency, (6) ensuring appropriate focus on compliance, and (7) building an advisory function that is highly respected bank wide and earns Lending Services the title of ‘Trusted Advisor’.
 
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive experience within banking/financial services industry with broad knowledge of banking products
  • Ability to build strong, respectful relationships
  • Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong client facing and stakeholder management experience
  • Strong credit and analytical skills
  • Experience managing a high functioning team
  • Loan workout experience will be well regarded but not essential
