Senior Manager, Digital Optimisation

The Senior Manager, Digital Optimisation leads a team responsible for optimising web traffic from both referred and un-referred channels to drive customer engagement and improve the yield from paid marketing investment.
The position holder draws heavily on web analytics to understand and pinpoint challenges or risks in the customer journey and identify opportunities for improvement. To drive those improvements, the position holder must influence and work closely with stakeholders responsible for Paid marketing and IT to influence paid media spend on web optimisation programs, and prioritise the implementation of those improvements.
Key responsibilities include:

* Build and implement ‘always on' monitoring and analytics systems for tracking customer behaviour and digital channel performance in driving and converting web traffic
* Oversee testing (e.g., A/B, MVT) and analysis and produce analysis and insight to drive continuous optimisation
* Analyse all available data sources to identify customer struggle and effort across digital channels and identify risks or breakpoints in the end-to-end customer journey
* Share reporting and insights regarding the customer journey and campaign effectiveness to develop commercially-focused recommendations to address key break points and improve conversion and cross-sell
* Engage with internal stakeholders to maintain an up-to-date awareness of strategic priorities and how they are supported through digital channels
* Lead and influence internal stakeholders to ensure that optimisation challenges and opportunities are identified and addressed in a strategically aligned manner to ensure integration of media spend to support web optimisation
* Oversee resourcing and program management of optimisation projects  
* Manage, support and develop the Digital Optimisation team to ensure that they are exposed to global best practice and organisational networks, and oversee the delivery of projects and BAU across the function to ensure high standards and timely delivery that adds value to business stakeholders                                                                          

To be successful in this role, the position holder must have:

* Strong experience using web analytics tools to analyse digital customer engagement and effort and identify opportunities for improvement
* A high level of commercial acumen in order to identify and develop opportunities for customer conversion and profitability
* Experience leading the development and delivery of optimisation roadmaps
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different stakeholder groups
