Marketing Specialist - Loyalty


The Role:

The Specialist, Loyalty, position is an integral member of the Marketing team, with accountability for supporting the Marketing Managers and wider business to execute the national marketing plan and objectives. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, this diverse role will cover all aspects of Marketing.

You will be primarily responsible for developing and delivering Customer Marketing activities aligned to marketing strategy and delivery and execution of integrated marketing plans across all channels.

This a diverse and varied role that will have exposure to all aspects of Marketing in a fun and fast paced environment.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • deliver in the development and implementation of Loyalty Marketing activities to assist in achieving targets.
  • develop campaign strategies to assist in achieving retention and engagement targets.
  • feed broadcast, digital and 1:1 campaign learnings and opportunities back into the business.
  • effectively implement all communication initiatives adhering to the communications campaign processes, on time and on budget, to help meet business objectives.
  • work with internal stakeholders and external agencies & partners on marketing campaign design and execution.
  • develop internal communications to inform the broader team on campaigns, including campaign schedules and anticipated channel impacts.
  • effectively manage allocated budgets through approval of estimates and purchase orders.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or business-related field.
  • strong experience in Integrated Marketing.
  • previous acquisition or digital marketing experience.
  • proven experience with loyalty marketing.
  • an understanding of communications development, campaign management & implementation and production processes and how this relates to the online space.
  • an understanding and experience with digital analytic tools to monitor campaigns and user behaviour.
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • the ability to manage agency and external supplier relationships and produce effective and timely materials.
  • budget management and control across projects.
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • the ability to work in flexible, cross-functional teams with a focus on commercial outcomes.
