Job Summary

As a result of a recent internal change and significant project pipeline, AECOM’s Resources, Power and Industrial Business has an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Leader in Mackay. As part of this role you will provide technical and design management, commercial and resourcing leadership of a consulting engineering team in the areas of mining, defence, maritime and aviation.

Working with our key clients, this role will see you on the front-line of continuing the development of our Resources business within Central QLD. You will provide hands-on technical advice and input to a range of projects, whilst growing and developing our multi-disciplinary team of engineers.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor of engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil – or equivalent) - Essential;

  • Significant professional experience;

  • Experience managing engineering/consulting projects;

  • Heavy Industry experience / Mining Industry – Essential;

  • RPEQ – Essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong preference for Industrial/Mining project exposure;

  • Understanding of Local and State Government projects, procedures and standards highly advantageous.
