Team Lead - Water Resources & Coastal Management

Job Summary

As a result of an internal promotion, we are looking for an influential, collaborative and vibrant director to lead our Water Resources & Coastal Management team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will join our South East Queensland Water Group leadership team and will help drive the implementation of AECOM’s ANZ Water Strategy. This is a career-defining opportunity for a driven professional to play an instrumental role in the continued growth of our water-related service offering across the South East Queensland and wider ANZ water markets.

Our Water Resources & Coastal Management team provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects across the municipal, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, defence and oil & gas sectors. The team includes engineers and scientists who specialise in a wide range of technical disciplines such as flood risk management, stormwater management, drainage design, mine water management, dam assessments, water sensitive urban design and coastal engineering.

Using your strong client-focus and developed networks, you will lead our multi-disciplinary team to deliver timely, innovative and high-quality project outputs. You will be a motivational leader, fostering the growth and development of our team, which comprises of a combination of new talent and experienced professionals, whilst focusing on technical excellence, project management and client service satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for an innovative and influential leader with a strong local and regional market presence; an individual who can provide technical leadership and business development focus, whilst fostering a culture of inclusion, support and delivery excellence.

Utilising your 15+ years’ professional experience, you will have demonstrated experience in leading a high performing team and a successful track record of building and maintaining client relationships and business development.

Preferred Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications and consulting experience are a must. CPEng, RPEQ registration preferred.
