Payroll Administrator I

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the provision of payroll on a fortnightly basis for Australian AECOM employees.

Day to day management of the SAP timekeeping for payroll, as well as the maintenance of employee records relevant to the calculation of payroll. Other finance functions not defined within this position description but within the recognized experience or capabilities of the incumbent may also be required.

Minimum Requirements

Advanced Spreadsheet skills.

Intermediate SAP and MYOB/PayGlobal Payroll experience

Demonstrated attention to detail

Must possess strong planning/organizational skills

Excellent written/verbal interpersonal communication skills and the ability to liaise with and develop a rapport with a range of stakeholders

Proven ability to analyze large volumes of data for trends and discrepancies and demonstrated the capacity to effectively research issues and develop appropriate solutions

Personal attributes of patience, tenacity and highly communicative

Proven ability to work under pressure and demonstrated the ability to meet deadlines and support priorities

Proven ability to work independently and as a dedicated team member

Demonstrated commitment to the understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion

Committed to training, endorsement, and support for new processes or new team members

Uses judgment to escalate issues to a higher level of management when appropriate

Demonstrated capacity for personal and professional growth with a willingness to expand competencies and knowledge.

Uphold the Code of Conduct and adhere to Program and Company Policies.

Preferred Qualifications

Certificate IV/Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Human Resources.

Graduate of recognized MYOB PayGlobal training or equivalent and/or in-depth knowledge of MYOB PayGlobal Payroll systems or equivalent.

Current drivers’ licence.

Minimum 3 years experience processing a small, complex payroll.
