Job Summary

AECOM has an opportunity for an

Occupational Hygienist supporting our program in Alice Springs, Australia. The Occupational Hygienist will work with the EHS Team to access and control physical, chemical, biological and environmental hazards to ensure a safe working environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active TS (US) or TSPV (AUS) security clearance is required.

  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of Australian and/or US EHS laws, regulations, orders and standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and successfully negotiate and influence outcomes.

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work professionally and with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Hygiene or relevant, similar degree.

  • Certified occupational Hygienist.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Occupational Hygiene field.
