Following a variety of recent project wins, and with several high-value opportunities identified in the South Australian market, we have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Adelaide Resource, Power & Industrial (RPI) team.

The role encompasses all aspects from bid preparation to client contact and design / study delivery. Our company thrives on understanding clients’ needs and delivering value for money solutions where repeat business and reputation underpin our future. You will assist with mechanical design, calculations, front-end engineering studies, inter-discipline coordination, and final design drawings.

Our team of industry experts and network of technical specialists will support the development of your technical and project management capabilities, giving you the opportunity to support project delivery to a broad range of clients and industry sectors. Working across mining, minerals processing, chemicals and defence will give you a broad exposure and help build your career.

Minimum Requirements

  • Mining Industry / Heavy Industry experience is essential
  • Strong experience in the design and specification of industrial piping systems, pumps, valves and various mechanical equipment
  • Self-driven with ability to present well to clients, have an attention to detail and a passion for quality design
  • Successful track record in winning and delivering work within a consultancy environment, to a high technical standard
  • Exposure to managing projects and budgets to meet time and resource requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering is essential.
